Ich habe schon Erfahrung mit der Makroprogrammierung und das Buch ist eigentlich für mich nur Ideen-fundgrube. Insoweit muss man hier zu Beginn ganz klar sagen, dass das ein Buch für den Anfänger/EInsteiger ist und das es jenem ermöglicht gleiche Tätigkeiten, die regelmäßig durchgeführt werden, in gewissem Umfang zu automatisieren.Der Autor zeigt in den ersten zwei Kapiteln notwendige Grundlagen auf und zeigt insbesondere auch auf, wie man mit der Entwicklungsumgebung (unter anderem auch dem Visual Basic Editor VBE) arbeitet, die Excel / Word / Powerpoint beinhalten und die man durch Anpassung des Menüs als zusätzliche Registerkarte sichtbar machen kann.In Kapitel 3 wird ein kurzer Einblick in die Syntax, Objekte und Variablen ermöglicht. Das Kapitel sollte der Anfänger auch lesen, er muss es aber nicht sofort alles verinnerlichen. Wer es bis Kapitel 2 verstanden hat, kann schon die ersten Makros aufzeichnen lassen.Der wahre Schatz sind dann aber die vielen dokumentieren und erläuterten Makros im Rest des Buches. Dort wird an Hand vieler Beispiele erklärt, wie sich weitere Funktionen, Variablen etc. in einen Makro einbinden lassen bzw. was diese bewirken.Wie gesagt lernt man hier nicht das programmieren, sondern wie man kleine Makros mit VBA Code automatisiert und/oder manuell erzeugen kann um sich das tägliche Routine-Excelleben etwas einfacher zu machen. Es kann aber nicht ausgeschlossen werden, dass dann die Lust am Programmieren kommt ... was dann andere Literatur benötigFür den Einsteiger ein Superbuch

Für den ersten Einstieg in die Excel-Programmierung mit VBA-Makros ist dieses Buch aufgrund der vielen, einfach verständlichen Beispiele bestens geeignet. Kann ich weiterempfehlen.

Das Buch ist sehr grundlagenlastig. Da ich mir bereits selbst die Anwendung von Makros beigebracht habe, hatte mir das Buch keinen Mehrwert gegeben. Der Titel hält somit sein Versprechen "makros für dummies"
